Gianpaolo Di Bona, holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Rome La Sapienza (1999) and a PhD in Civil and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cassino (2004). He served as a Second Lieutenant in the Italian Air Force (2000). Since 2014, he has been a researcher in Mechanical Industrial Plants at the University of Cassino, where he became Associate Professor in 2021. He has taught courses in Industrial Plants, Logistics, and Quality and Safety Management at various universities and served as Head of the Quality Assurance Group (2018-2021). He has participated in 15 research projects and 5 technology transfer projects, focusing on industrial systems, logistics, and safety. Di Bona has chaired 5 international conferences, served on 15 scientific committees, and published 60 indexed papers with an H-Index of 17. He is also a member of several editorial boards for international journals in his field.
